Reschedules, No Shows and Late Cancels, Oh My!

Updated: Aug 14

Every business does a delicate balancing act of how to enforce policies, while still being customer friendly. Massage therapy is no different. We realize that

sometimes things happen that are out of our control, but here are some guidelines for what do do in case a situation does arise.

Rescheduling Sometimes life likes to throw you the occasional curveball...it happens. In an effort to be equatable and fair to all clients, if you need to reschedule your appointment I do require 24 hrs notice to give someone else the opportunity to book an appointment. If you cannot give 24 hours notice you will be charged the full session amount.

No Show If you forget or consciously choose not to show up for your appointment, you are considered a "no show" and will be charged the full amount of the session. I will charge the credit card you put on file to book your appointment

Late Arrivals In the event of a late arrival, depending on how late, your session may be cut short to accommodate those clients coming in after you. If I have determined that there is not enough time to accommodate your session, a rescheduling fee will apply and must be paid prior to rescheduling an appointment.

Covid-19 Cancellations - Exceptions to the 24 hour notice policy will be waived if you have tested positive for Covid-19. You must test negative in order to rebook your appointment. If you have been exposed to Covid, please call the office so we can assess your risk factors and decide whether or not to cancel your appointment.
